Position Details:
- Location: Remote (Michigan-based)
- Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
- Compensation: Dependent on district and years of experience
Requirements:
- Licensing:
- Must be licensed as a School Psychologist in the state of Michigan.
- Certification:
- All local and state certification requirements must be met.
- Technology Familiarity:
- Must be comfortable using various technology platforms to deliver remote services and support remote teaching.
- Experience:
- Prior experience as a School Psychologist, especially in a school setting, is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote psychological assessments and evaluations for students with special needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Offer counseling and intervention services to students, including crisis management and behavioral support.
- Assist in the development and delivery of strategies to promote positive mental health and well-being.
- Provide recommendations for educational accommodations and modifications based on assessment results.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and student progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding students' psychological needs and progress.
