This is a full-time, school-based role, perfect for professionals who are passionate about supporting students with speech and language disorders, especially those within special education.
Position Overview

Job Requirements
- Must meet all qualifications and requirements set by local and state regulations to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Carolina.
- Experience with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), speech therapy techniques, and behavior management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with students, teachers, and families.
Typical Job Duties
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students communication needs and academic success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, treatment plans, and IEP documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and future goals.
- Support teachers by providing strategies to assist students with speech and language needs in the classroom.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding speech-language therapy.
