Position Overview:
- Location: New Orleans, LA
- Caseload: K-12 students
- Schedule: Full-time, onsite
- Compensation: Competitive hourly and weekly pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to support speech and language development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster student success.
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language services.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active Louisiana SLP licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
