Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position with a reputable school district in the Morton, PA area. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of students while working in a collaborative and supportive educational setting.
Responsibilities
As a Speech Language Pathologist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address student needs.
- Providing direct therapy services to improve communication, language, and speech skills.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
- Participating in meetings and providing expertise on student progress and recommended strategies.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following local and state requirements:
- Hold a valid Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathology license.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred).
- Experience working in a school setting (preferred).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
