Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.
Join our team as a Behavior Therapist/Para with ABA experience in Billerica, just 15 minutes from Lowell, for a short-term role providing direct support to elementary students. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working under the guidance of a social worker.
Position Details:
- Location: Billerica, MA (15 minutes from Lowell, MA)
- Dates: January to March 2025 (approx.)
- Hours: 35 hours/week
- Setting: One elementary school building
- Caseload: Provide targeted support for one or two students.
Responsibilities:
- Work 1:1 or in small groups to implement behavior intervention strategies for assigned students.
- Collaborate with the supervising social worker to address student needs.
- Support students social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) required.
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: TBD (based on experience).
