Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in the district.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students' emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.
- Develop and implement intervention plans based on evaluation results.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams and case conferences.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Offer recommendations and strategies for improving classroom management and student behavior.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all students under your care.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicants must meet the following qualifications to apply:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Certification or eligibility for certification.
- Previous experience working as a school psychologist is preferred.
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and counseling skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to meet all local and state employment requirements, including background checks and fingerprinting.
