Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Deliver therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure progress toward communication goals.
- Document student progress and provide updates during IEP meetings.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Pennsylvania license in speech-language pathology from the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Eligibility for Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification as an Educational Specialist.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred.
