Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and work full-time with a school district in the Morton, PA area. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Providing direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Participating in team meetings and providing input on strategies to enhance student outcomes.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Pennsylvania.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Background Check, and FBI Criminal Background Check.
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
