Requirements:
- Education: Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- License: Active Massachusetts PT license is required.
- Certifications: CPR certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist (school-based or pediatric experience preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students motor skills and physical development needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance mobility and functionality.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy into the classroom environment.
- Document progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Educate staff on best practices to support students with physical challenges.
