BlazerJobs is seeking a qualified Social Worker to support an elementary school in Mt. Prospect, IL for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an onsite position covering a leave, with a focus on providing social work services to elementary-aged students.
Position Details:
- Title: Social Worker
- Location: Mt. Prospect, IL
- Dates: March 31, 2025 June 2, 2025
- Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:50 AM 3:50 PM
- Caseload: Approximately 15 elementary students
Requirements:
- Valid Illinois School Social Work Endorsement
- PEL (Professional Educator License)
Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services to elementary students, including counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support the social and emotional well-being of students.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of support plans for students.
