Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP License (required).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred).
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with pediatric or school-based populations.
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on student evaluations and IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure holistic support for student success.
- Document progress and adjust therapy interventions as necessary.
- Maintain compliance with state and district policies and reporting requirements.
