Our partner school in Wheeling, Illinois, hasan openingfor an onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) for the current school year. We are seeking a caringapplicant who wants to work with kids of all levels and satisfies the requirements listed below!
Qualifications:
- Must have an active Illinois OT License
- Must have Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Must be licensed through the Illinois Board
- Previous experience with IEP's preferred, but not required
About the Position:
- Current School Year
- Full time: up to 40 hours perweek
- Caseload:grades K- 12th, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
- Pay Rate: $40 - $50 per hour, depending on previous experiences
Daily Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual-motor coordination, self-care abilities, and functional performance.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting goals and objectives that address students' specific needs.
- Provide individual and group occupational therapy sessions to students, implementing evidence-based interventions to improve their functional abilities.
