Job Description:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated School Occupational Therapist for a part-time position in Rosemount, Minnesota for the Spring 2025 semester. This opportunity allows you to work flexibly with a K-12 caseload in a supportive school environment. You will collaborate with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide therapeutic support to students, assess their functional abilities, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12.
- Assess students functional abilities and create tailored treatment plans to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to implement therapeutic techniques and strategies.
- Educate students, educators, and families on therapy techniques to enhance student success.
- Work alongside a COTA to ensure comprehensive support and intervention for students.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapy (OT) license.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred but not required.
