Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing for an experienced School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position with school districts in McKeesport, PA. Responsibilities
As a School SLP, your typical duties will include:
- Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
- Providing direct therapy services to students, either individually or in small groups, to address their speech and language needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress and ensure IEP goals are met.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Educating and training staff and parents on strategies to support students speech and language development.
- Maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations related to speech-language therapy services.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications to apply:
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification/Licensure: Valid Pennsylvania state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
