Blazerworks is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in a fully remote capacity for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a collaborative and innovative school district in Chandler, AZ, providing essential mental health and educational services to students in need. As a fully remote position, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere while making a positive impact in students academic and emotional development.
Position Details:
- Location: Fully Remote (Work from Home)
- Position Type: Full-time, for the 2024-2025 school year
- Hours: Standard school hours (flexible scheduling available)
- Start Date: As soon as possible for the 2024-2025 academic year
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for students referred for services.
- Provide individual and group counseling for students addressing emotional, social, and academic challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement effective behavior interventions and accommodations.
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide support during times of emotional distress.
- Offer expert guidance on mental health concerns, learning disabilities, and developmental issues.
- Provide professional recommendations to ensure that students academic, social, and emotional needs are being met.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and collaborate with the special education team.

Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Active state licensure as a School Psychologist in Arizona.
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessments, interventions, and IEP processes.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and managing various behavioral and emotional challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Experience in a remote work environment is preferred, but not required.
