Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time contract position in Elgin, IL. This role is designed for professionals who are dedicated to assessing and supporting students educational and behavioral needs in a collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments to identify students strengths and challenges.
- Develop detailed reports and work with educators to create effective IEPs.
- Provide direct counseling and support to students as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to implement classroom interventions.
- Maintain meticulous records of evaluations and student progress.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Illinois state licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
