Occupational Therapist (School-Based)
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time position with school districts in the Schaumburg, IL area.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:
- Education: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Certification: Active Illinois Occupational Therapist License
- Experience: Previous experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist preferred
- Additional Requirements:
- Must hold an active Professional Educator License (PEL) with an Occupational Therapist endorsement in Illinois
- Compliance with all state and federal regulations for school-based therapy
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students motor skills and functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student success
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy into the classroom
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal setting
