Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualification & Requirements:
Eligibility for this Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position requires that you have a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, and a state issued Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license - Experience working within a school setting as well as an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is preferred but not required. Speech Language Pathologists in Wheaton, IL, play a critical role in supporting students' educational and personal development by addressing their communication needs.
Job Description:
- Provide direct therapy and conduct evaluations for students.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement speech strategies in the classroom.
- Maintain compliance with IEP requirements and state regulations.
- Develop AAC communication systems for students with complex needs.
- Track and document student progress, sharing updates with the IEP team.

- Illinois SLP licensure and ASHA certification required.
