Qualifications

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement
Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting

Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Provide therapy services in individual and group settings
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate records and document student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student goals and accommodations
