Blazerworks, in partnership with a reputable school district in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a compassionate and skilled School Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time role during the 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities:
- Assess students needs to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students with various developmental, physical, and sensory needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students educational and developmental goals
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates on student performance
- Adapt and modify equipment and the learning environment as needed to enhance student success
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in Indiana
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A commitment to supporting students physical, sensory, and motor development
