We are now interviewing for a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Indianapolis, IN, for the upcoming school year. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 student population, providing essential services to help students thrive in their academic and social environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to K-12 students based on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address sensory, motor, and functional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students goals and integrate strategies into the classroom.
- Document student progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Indiana Occupational Therapy license.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
