We are now interviewing for an experienced and compassionate School Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to support K-12 students in achieving their physical and functional goals within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students across K-12 grades.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students mobility, motor skills, and overall physical health.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in coordination with teachers and other school staff.
- Track student progress and make adjustments to therapy plans based on individual needs.
- Attend IEP meetings to provide input on students' physical therapy needs and progress updates.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all student services and progress reports.
- Educate school staff and families on exercises and strategies to support students' physical development.
Requirements:
- Active Indiana Physical Therapist (PT) License.
- Previous experience in pediatric or school settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and school-based physical therapy interventions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
