Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
We are hiring a part-time School Psychologist in Cartersville, GA, to join a school team committed to improving student outcomes. The psychologist will be responsible for assessing students needs, creating tailored intervention plans, and providing ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' psychological and educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administration to implement student support strategies.
- Provide counseling services and develop behavior management plans.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Georgia state education laws.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid Georgia state certification for School Psychologists.
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in a school-based role.
- Familiarity with Georgia's educational policies and special education standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
