Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Falls Church, VA. This full-time position will serve K-12 students, providing critical psychological assessments and evaluations to support the academic, behavioral, and emotional development of students. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and administrators to create individualized support plans that address students' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
- Interpret findings and provide recommendations to parents and school staff.
- Develop and implement intervention plans based on assessment results.
- Participate in IEP and 504 Plan development and progress monitoring.
- Provide consultation to staff on psychological services and student needs.
- Adhere to all VDOE and district regulations regarding timelines and documentation.
- Participate in parent-staff conferences and other school meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
- Valid VDOE School Psychologist license.
- Strong knowledge of educational laws and special education regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting preferred.
