We are now interviewing for a dedicated School Occupational Therapist (OT) in Washington D.C. Join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of K-12 students. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to provide crucial support in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' motor, sensory, and functional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to enhance students' academic and social performance.
- Maintain detailed progress reports and participate in IEP meetings.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Washington D.C.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
