Position Overview:
As a School Psychologist, you will:
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create a supportive educational environment.
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
- Provide individual and group counseling to address behavioral and emotional challenges.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to promote positive academic and social outcomes.
- Support the development of IEPs and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Assist in crisis management and prevention efforts.
- Deliver professional development and consultative services to teachers and staff.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Masters or Doctorate degree in School Psychology.
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Virginia.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a school setting.
- A commitment to fostering inclusive, equitable, and supportive environments for all students.
- Previous experience in school-based psychology is preferred but not required.
