Join our Blazer Jobs team as a full-time Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Opelousas, Louisiana. This role will allow you to work closely with SLPs to help students reach their speech and language goals. This role is ideal for an experienced SLPA who values collaboration and enjoys working in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy in collaboration with supervising SLPs
- Support the implementation of IEP goals and ensure accurate documentation of service minutes
- Track and communicate student progress with the SLP and school team
- Develop positive relationships with students, families, and school staff
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- Louisiana SLPA license
- At least 1 year of experience in a school or pediatric environment
