Blazer Jobs is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Byfield, MA. As an SLPA, you will support the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing vital communication and language services to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP in implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to help them reach speech and language goals.
- Collect and report on data related to student progress and support documentation for IEPs.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging therapy environment.
Requirements:
- Education: Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field.
- Certification: Certification as an SLPA (if required by Massachusetts).
- Licensing (Massachusetts): Must meet Massachusetts SLPA requirements, including registration with the Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a school setting.
