Blazer Jobs is looking for an experienced and licensed Occupational Therapist to join our partner school district in Rosamond, California. This full-time role is a fantastic opportunity to provide critical therapy services to students and help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that align with students' IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to improve students participation in school activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal-setting and progress reviews.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in California.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- At least one year of experience in a school-based or pediatric setting.
- Strong understanding of special education processes and IEP development.
