Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Indianapolis, IN. This is an itinerant role, serving both high school and elementary students in various school settings. We are looking for a passionate individual ready to make an impact on the lives of students with functional and life skills needs.
Position Details:
- Location: Itinerant High school and elementary schools
- Position Type: Full-time
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 23, 2025
- Hours: 37.5 hours/week
- Caseload:
- High school caseload with primarily functional and life skills students requiring minimal services.
- Collaboration with another elementary SLP to provide services 2x/month for two life skills classrooms (elementary), each for half a day.
- Joint effort with an elementary SLP to ensure student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students with a focus on functional and life skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to develop strategies and plans for student support.
- Work with another elementary SLP to assist with a shared caseload.
Special Requirements:
- State Licensure: Speech Language Pathologist in Indiana
- Educator Credential: Professional Educator License - Communication Disorders (P-12)
- Emergency certification is available for candidates in the process of certification.
