This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical support to students and collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and mental health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Assessments: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' psychological, emotional, and educational needs.
- Behavioral Interventions: Develop and implement personalized intervention strategies to help students thrive academically and socially.
- Counseling and Support: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students' mental health and well-being.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to urgent student issues and assist in crisis management efforts within the school community.
- Professional Development: Offer guidance and training to faculty on topics related to mental health, emotional well-being, and effective student support strategies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Certification: Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in the state of Washington.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with a passion for student success.
