Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for a full-time position with school districts in the Scranton, PA area. Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals.
- Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district policies and state guidelines.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of comprehensive plans for student success.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active state Occupational Therapist license.
- Familiarity with state and local regulations for school-based therapy services.
- Prior experience in a school setting (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
