Job Overview:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school team in Andover, MA. This is a part-time position with 23 hours per week, scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. As an SLPA, you will work with a varying caseload of students, including special education (SPED) students with speech and language issues, as well as medically fragile students who require specialized communication support.
Caseload:
- Varying caseload of students

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
- Provide direct speech therapy support to students under the guidance of an SLP
- Implement speech and language activities designed to address communication needs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions
- Provide support in classroom settings for students who require speech/language assistance
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to modify classroom activities to accommodate speech and language goals
- Monitor and report on student progress, behavior, and responses to therapy
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies and regulations
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Active SLPA license in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience working with SPED students or students with medically fragile conditions is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for helping students improve their speech and communication skills
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage caseload documentation
