This full-time role will involve working in a special education setting, providing vital physical therapy services to students with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will be committed to making a positive impact on students' physical development and overall success in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to students in a special education environment
- Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports for students
- Offer guidance to staff regarding physical therapy techniques and strategies
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure and certifications as a Physical Therapist (please list specific licensure and certifications required upon application)
- At least 1 year of experience in a school or special education setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
