School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Lynn, MA ($55-60 hr)
Blazerworks is excited to partner with the Lynn, MA, school district in seeking a passionate and experienced School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. Position Overview:
As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in identifying and addressing communication challenges in students, empowering them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your expertise will be critical in fostering a positive learning environment and helping students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' needs and IEP goals.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and communicate progress.
- Offer professional guidance and training to staff and families on communication strategies and interventions.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including progress reports, assessments, and IEP updates.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable input on goals and services.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active Massachusetts SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Prior school-based experience is strongly preferred but not required.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
