Key Responsibilities:
As a School Psychologist, you will:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs.
- Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to address academic and behavioral concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
- Support the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide counseling services to students individually or in groups.
- Participate in crisis intervention and prevention planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state policies.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:
- A Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
- Active Texas LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology) certification.
- Knowledge of special education laws and best practices in assessment and intervention.
- Experience working in school settings (preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance.
