Position Overview:
- Location: Frederick, MD
- Caseload: K-12 students
- Schedule: Full-time, onsite
- Compensation: Competitive hourly and weekly pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to address students' emotional, social, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students and families.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to promote student well-being and academic success.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify barriers to learning and develop solutions.
- Connect students and families with community resources and services.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on mental health and social-emotional supports.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to track student progress and services provided.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
- Active Maryland licensure as a School Social Worker or eligibility to obtain.
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
