Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dedicated team in the Aston, PA area. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students' communication abilities to identify speech, language, and hearing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.
- Provide therapy sessions to address speech and language deficits.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and therapy sessions.
- Educate and train teachers and parents on strategies to support students' communication needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field (required).
- Active Pennsylvania SLP license (required).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred).
- Prior experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and meet district standards.
