Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:20 AM - 3:40 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Assistant to join our team in supporting kindergarten students with behavioral and emotional needs. In this full-time role, you will work closely with individual students or small groups, providing essential support in the classroom to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individual students or small groups with classroom activities.
- Support students with behavioral and emotional needs, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement classroom strategies and interventions.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom setting.
- Monitor and document student progress as needed.
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with children in a classroom setting.
- Ability to build rapport with students and provide empathetic support.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
