Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations of speech, language, and communication needs using standardized assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert input on students progress and needs.
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and adjustments to treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology.
- School-based experience preferred.
- Completion of a clinical fellowship year (CFY) for new graduates, if applicable.
