Responsibilities:
- Consult and collaborate with staff and parents about prevention, early interventions, and community resources and outside therapies
- Assist with referral and/or maintaining communication with community or private agencies for further evaluation, treatment, or services when needed
- Serve as a contributing member on building and district level teams (i.e. crisis team, MTSS team, student services building teams, grade level teams, PBIS, department meetings etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Masters Degree or higher in Social Work, School Counseling,or related field
- Active Illinois licensure as aSchool Social Worker
- Previous experience in an educational setting
- 2-3 reference checks prior to interview
Schedule:
- Start/End Dates: April 25, 2025- June 5, 2025
- Will extend for the 2025/2026 school year
- Hours: Full Time (35hours/week); Monday-Friday
- Caseload Details:PreK to 5th Grade students; More details discussed during interview Compensation:
