Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position within school districts in the Tinley Park, IL area. We are seeking motivated professionals dedicated to enhancing students' communication and language development to support their academic and personal success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Deliver therapy services in individual and group settings to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure students' success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on student evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current licensure as an SLP in Illinois.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred but not required).
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
