Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

BlazerJobs is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Richmond, IL. This full-time position will focus on providing speech and language support to elementary students (K-5th grade). The SLP will work closely with a diverse group of students, including those with speech and language impairments, to support their communication development and academic success.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group therapy services for students in grades K-5 with speech and language impairments.
Conduct thorough assessments, develop IEPs (Individualized Education Plans), and implement therapy plans tailored to students needs.
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to track student progress and adapt interventions.
Serve as a consultant to staff and families on speech and language development, providing recommendations for classroom strategies and support.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for all therapy sessions, progress notes, and IEP goals.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and progress.

Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active Illinois SLP licensure (or ability to obtain one).
Experience working with elementary-age children (K-5) is preferred.
Strong understanding of speech and language development, with experience in assessment and treatment planning.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
