Position Details:

- Caseload: Approximately 50 elementary students in a special education setting
- Job Type: Long-term assignment
- Hourly Rate: $45+
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations.
- Support students in achieving academic and social success through targeted interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan School Social Worker License or eligibility required.
- Experience working in a school setting, particularly with special education populations, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
