Position Details:
- Job Title: School Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Location: Boulder, CO
- Schedule: Full-time, 2024-2025 School Year
- Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development and ensure accommodations align with academic goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and IEP updates.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on therapy goals and strategies.
- Offer consultation and training to school staff to foster an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado OT license (or ability to obtain before the start date).
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience in a school setting or working with children is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
