Blazer Jobs is seeking a full-time School Psychologist for a position in Soldotna, AK. The psych will provide services to K-12 students across the district in either the Homer or Central Peninsula area through May 2025.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels.
- Provide counseling and behavioral interventions to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Participate in the development of behavior management plans and crisis intervention strategies.
- Support students emotional and mental well-being within the school setting.
Qualifications:
- Requirement: Active School Psychologist certification/license for Alaska.
- Experience in a K-12 school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and assessment skills.
