Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time role within school districts in the Green Bay, WI area. Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements to apply:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Current Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Knowledge of Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes and state special education requirements.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to support students in achieving communication goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a comprehensive support system.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student outcomes.
