Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Odessa, DE area.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and address fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills impacting students educational performance.
- Design and implement individualized intervention plans to address identified needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to develop strategies for student success.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress towards established goals.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEP meetings, as required.
Requirements:
- A Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- A valid Delaware occupational therapy license issued by the Division of Professional Regulation.
- School-based experience is highly preferred.
- Must pass a Delaware criminal background check and Child Protection Registry clearance.
