Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position in Itasca, IL
Blazer Jobs, in partnership with the Itasca school district, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, onsite position for the current school year. Daily Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Providing direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
- Illinois state SLP licensure from ASHA is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Renewal for the following school year is based on performance and needs.
