Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker or Counselor to join a multidisciplinary team in Burbank, IL. This full-time role involves providing group and individual therapy to special education students while collaborating with families and educational staff to support students needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapy to special education students.
- Collaborate with families to support students social and emotional development.
- Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team addressing the needs of cooperative students.
- Support the educational and emotional well-being of students in Special Education Member District classrooms.
- Maintain compliance with state and district policies.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License with a Type 73 Certificate for School Social Worker.
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.
- Experience working with special education students is a plus.
